Yes! Many styles can be customized in different color options, depending on the designer and specific style. While there are some limitations, we’re happy to explore all available options. Please note that certain embroidery tones may not be adjustable, and additional charges may apply for color customizations.
Thanks to our very strong, long-term relationships with our designers, we’re able to offer more extensive customization options than clients would receive when trying to contact designers directly.

Our Commitment to the Best Fit
We strive to deliver the best possible fit. However, please keep in mind that because these are handcrafted pieces based on written measurements, we ask that you set your expectations accordingly, as some tailoring may be required. Achieving a perfect fit for custom garments—especially intricate designs crafted overseas based solely on written measurements—is a very complex process and very different than purchasing a dress from a department store

When purchasing a custom size option, the final fit of your garments will depend on the accuracy of the measurements you provide. Therefore, it is crucial to submit accurate measurements, which should be given in inches.

We offer complimentary customization to your measurements, but please note that final tailoring will be the client's responsibility.

- As a multi-designer studio, each designer may have slightly different measurement standards for various styles.
- We allow for a standard leeway of up to 1 inch on measurements provided, though our goal is to stay within a 0.5-inch variance.
Please be prepared for final adjustments with a tailor. Since we do not charge extra for most custom sizing, any additional alterations after delivery will be the customer’s responsibility.
Alterations may be required for a variety of reasons, including fluctuations in weight, accuracy of the measurements provided, garment style, and more. Bust and waist sizes in women can fluctuate weekly, so we always include extra margin in the in-seam of our tops to allow for tailoring if needed.
The good news: all our pieces are designed to be easily altered by a professional tailor or dry cleaner. We’ve also curated a list of trusted tailors in many major U.S. cities—feel free to reach out, and we’ll gladly share a recommendation!
If you wish to place an order but are unsure about your measurements, we provide online measurement forms that you can fill out during checkout. These forms will be available at checkout. Please provide all measurements in inches.
Alternatively, we can email you a custom measurement form via email or schedule a complimentary follow-up appointment lasting 15 to 20 minutes. This appointment can be conducted either in person or virtually to review any measurements you may be uncertain about.
- Wear a standard bra (not a sports or strapless bra) when taking your measurements.
- Try to have a reliable tailor assist you with your measurements.
- If measuring at home, stand in front of a mirror to monitor the process or ask someone for help.
- Maintain an upright posture with your arms hanging naturally at your sides, and avoid sucking in your stomach during measurement.
- Ensure that the measurements fit snugly against your body, neither too tight nor too loose.
- Consider the heel height when providing lengths.
- Tip: Use your existing clothing as a reference for measurements. For example, if providing measurements for a saree blouse, wear a well-fitting saree blouse to cross-check. For skirt lengths, measure against a current skirt, and so on.
When your measurement details are accurate, the final fit of your outfit will reflect that.
We offer complimentary in-studio measurements with a confirmed order only.
- Measurement-only visits are subject to availability. Clients with confirmed orders take priority.
- Walk-ins for measurements may not be accommodated during our busy hours—please call ahead.
- If you’d like to visit for measurements without placing an order, a $50 fee will apply. This fee is refundable if an order is placed within 5 days of measurement
- These measurements are for our internal use and process & will not be shared with you
Please note: We do not offer alterations and do not have an in-house tailor.
The majority of our products are custom, made-to-order products. Products not labeled as 'Ready to Ship' or not listed under Ready-to-Ship section of our website, are not in stock and are made-to-order, regardless of whether you select standard sizes or opt for custom measurements. Therefore, these items are non-refundable and considered final sale.
- Delivery Time: Custom orders can take approximately 6-15 weeks to deliver. If you need it sooner, contact us at contact@studioeast6.com and we’d be happy to check!
- Cancellation: Once placed, orders cannot be canceled, because they be flagged to go into production immediately.
- Returns: These items are non-refundable and considered final sale.
- Custom Sizing: Standard custom sizes will be verified against customer-provided measurements before shipping. Any further alterations are the customer’s responsibility.
